Smart-Lok® Adaptors let you convert all your standard threaded tools to Quick-on/Quick-off tools. With the push of a button you can quickly change threaded tools without unscrewing them when used with Smart-Lok® extension poles. Smart-Lok® adaptors are removable and convert any threaded tool to a Quick-on/Quick-off tool. Just screw on your paint roller or other tool and when you want to remove it push the button to release. Positive Push Button Mechanism

The Smart-Lok’s® push button mechanism provides a sturdy lock and is also easily serviced in the field. The button can be easily removed and replaced or the user can clean inside of the locking mechanism if paint or stain somehow infiltrates it.

Lok-Thread® on Adaptor Keeps Attachments from Loosening

Similar to all of our heavy duty and professional extension poles, the Smart-Lok® Adaptor utilizes our Lok-Thread® feature. Having a paint roller, scraper or other extension pole attachment loosen while in use is a common problem for professionals and DIYers alike. Thanks to our one-of-a-kind Lok-Thread® the user will not have to deal with attachments coming loose, saving time and frustration.

When attaching a tool, if you find that it does not screw on all the way to the bottom; that is perfectly acceptable.  The Lok-thread® secured the fit and you’re good to go. While the Lok-thread® is small, it helps any professional or DIYer in a big way. No other extension pole on the market has a similar feature. ’90s Style Adaptor

Mr. LongArm has been manufacturing Smart-Lok® extension poles and adaptors since the early 1990s. If your pole is one of those early designs, it has a different adaptor as shown here. Instead of the hex shape it had 5 grooves on opposite sides of the adaptors base. We can no longer provide those adaptors but if you contact our Customer Service Representatives they can help you update your pole to work with the new style adaptors.
