Effective Sanitization of Assisted Care Living Facilities with PURE Hard Surface

Evaluations were conducted comparing standard cleaning and sanitization of various surfaces within three Assisted Care Living Facilities followed by application of PURE Hard Surface. Following standard cleaning and sanitizing SOPs, APC swabs were taken and enumerated as control samples. PURE Hard Surface was then applied according to PURE Bioscience SOP (mist surfaces, do not wipe) and APC swabs were taken again for evaluation.

The Challenge

Maintaining high hygiene standards in Assisted Care Living Facilities is paramount to protect vulnerable residents from harmful pathogens. However, traditional cleaning methods often fail to effectively eliminate all bacteria and viruses, posing a significant health risk. The facilities needed a more reliable solution to ensure a safer living environment.

The Solution

PURE Bioscience introduced PURE Hard Surface, a revolutionary antimicrobial surface sanitizer, to three Assisted Care Living Facilities. The product was applied following PURE Bioscience's SOP, misting surfaces without wiping, to achieve optimal results.

The Results

The introduction of PURE Hard Surface led to a remarkable improvement in sanitation levels. Control swabs taken after standard cleaning showed a combined total count of 383,700 CFU. After applying PURE Hard Surface, the total count drastically reduced to 1,380 CFU, achieving over a 99% reduction in pathogens.

These results underscore the effectiveness of PURE Hard Surface in enhancing the cleanliness and safety of living environments in Assisted Care Living Facilities.
